I have everything plugged into the TV using eARc back tothe reciever. I noticed that devices like my high end PC only offer PCM sound out, which I read was uncompressed and better than dolby offerings. It's picked up as 5.1 sound output and this makes sense. I like the convenience of the TV remote, it's actually pretty good, and in my testing of movies with surround, hear distinct 5 channel sound. It's good enough for me, but I would appreciate some clarity on this particular setup if you're familiar.
